Areas of study
European universities have a huge choice of programs. Give preference to the country where the area of study you want is most well developed:

  • Netherlands — architecture (DELFT), design, marketing
  • Greece — technical subjects and medicine
  • Germany — technical subjects, medicine, Berlin — art, design, architecture, business, and economics

  • France — mathematics, design, business, and technical subjects
Scholarship options
Europe has hundreds of scholarship programs with full and partial funding for expenses. Scholarships are given out by countries, regions, universities, private funds, and public organizations.

You can receive a scholarship for good academic performance, joining a university sports team, and even working in a university library. However, there are more scholarships for Master's programs than for Bachelor's. Universities also sponsor up to 90% of PhD programs.

Scholarships cover expenses both partially and in full. The majority of European universities offer one of these programs:

  • full scholarship for tuition and living
  • full scholarship for tuition
  • partial scholarship for tuition.
Some scholarships you can apply for:
  • Erasmus Mundus — a scholarship program in the EU for Master's students, covers up to 100% of tuition costs, medical insurance, accommodation, and flights to your chosen country
  • DAAD — a scholarship from the German Academic Exchange Service for any area of study
  • KAAD — a scholarship for Catholics from Eastern European countries
  • Finduddannelse.dk Sustainability Scholarship — a scholarship from a Danish platform for lifelong learning, you can study anywhere in the world.
Documents required for admission
To be accepted into a European university, you'll need:

  • Official transcript of your previous school or university
  • your GPA calculated — this is your average score on your certificate or degree, the rules for calculating may differ depending on the country, your advisor will help
  • a résumé
  • a motivation letter
  • 2 letters of recommendation.
You can also attach your portfolio, financial plan, or any additional essays (optional).
Most universities charge a €30 application fee.

If you order partial or full support, you'll prepare your documents with your advisor, who will have studied in Europe for free.
Cost of living
The cost of living depends on the city and country. Countries with a €700-800 monthly cost of living:
  • France
  • Italy

  • Austria (depending on the city).

Still it is cheaper then in USA.
Language requirements
European universities have programs in English and in the state language. Most international students study in English but have intensive courses of the local language.
Cost of tuition
Some European countries have free education. For example, the Czech Republic and Greece have free education if you study in the state language.
