Deadlines for submitting applications for academic year 2022-23
All documents must be sent by July 2022. Therefore, preparing documents starting January 2022 is advisable.

Greek universities provide a wide range of subjects, including humanities, law, economics, management, medicine, and social, exact, and technological sciences.
Scholarship options
If you perform very well academically, you can apply for a scholarship from the university.
Documents required for admission
To be accepted, you need to provide:
  • a school certificate or Bachelor's degree in the corresponding field, legally verified
  • a document confirming knowledge of English (IELTS or TOEFL) if you are applying for an English-language program. If you're applying for a program taught in Greek, then you don't need any language certificates, but you'll have to go through a year-long language course.
Cost of living
Cost of living is up to €500 per month. This includes accommodation and food expenses.

Language requirements
You can be accepted without knowing any foreign languages. Your first year of studies will be language focused, costing €750, and will take place in Athens or Thessaloniki, and then you'll move to your true first year, where you will already have enrolled. Starting from your first true year, tuition is free.

You can apply for a student visa in the Moscow branch of the Greek consulate.
COVID-19 pandemic
You shouldn't defer your admission because of the pandemic, you can travel abroad with a student visa without any issues.

The pandemic actually makes it easier to be admitted and receive grants. Students are afraid of entering university and are deferring their education, meaning there's less competition for places.
