4 reasons to choose a Japanese university
Easy to be admitted
Japan likes international students, so the government does not have strong requirements for applicants.
High standard of living
Japanese students travel, eat in restaurants, rent apartments and lead an active social life. It's all thanks to good scholarships and a large number of social discounts.
You can work
Even if you don't receive a scholarship you can work for 28 hours a week. This is enough to provide for an average student.
Universal support
Foreign students are supported not just by the government, but society in general. Every international student also has a Japanese student to help them with household affairs at first.
The most generous scholarship in Japan
flights there and back paid for
full coverage for programs (Bachelor's, Master's, and Postgraduate)
monthly stipend at Bachelor's level: 125,000 yen, Master's and Postgraduate level: 150,000 yen
MEXT — a scholarship from the Japanese Ministry of Education
You can receive this scholarship for 7 years!
You'll need to go through selection based on documents, and an interview. You'll need a perfect motivation letter, wide-ranging social skills, volunteering experience is highly valued, and a high level of English and minimal knowledge of Japanese is required. Having previously conducted research or made a well-developed plan for future research is a big plus.
There are a large number of scholarships from universities that you can receive upon arrival. And you can always apply for non-payment of a semester or request a tuition discount.
Features of studying in Japan
The cost of education with no scholarship is 500,000 to 600,000 yen at Bachelor's level, and 400,000-500,000 yen at Master's level.

The most popular programs are engineering, IT, science (biology and chemistry), and architecture.

Minimum wage is 180,000 yen.

There is no need to rush to Tokyo it's expensive there, the amount you get from a scholarship won't change. The standard of living in Japan is great in any city, and even in the countryside.

Bachelor's students who know Japanese usually begin searching for a job in their 3rd year. Requirements in the early stages are minimal.

If you want to work at your university, you'll get a very nice wage and lots of respect from society.
