The Swedish Institute Scholarship for Global Professionals is the most generous scholarship for studying in Sweden.
You can receive this scholarship for 1 or 2 years.
You'll need to go through selection based on your documents. You need to be accepted into at least one eligible Master's program at a Swedish University. You need a perfect motivation letter, résumé, letters of recommendation, proof of leadership experience, and at least 3,000 hours of work experience.

We're looking for candidates for March and September 2022, and March 2023.
The minimum period for preparing for admission is 3 months, but the ideal period is 12-18 months. If you want to be admitted this year, then start preparing as soon as possible.
The deadline for accepting applications depends on the country, university, and program. This is usually March for the Autumn Semester, and August to October for the Spring Semester.

Students tend to enroll in Scandinavian universities for research programs. Technology, humanitarian, and natural sciences are the most popular, for example engineering (in particular oil and construction), architecture, entrepreneurship and IT. Education here is famous for its practicality.
There is a wide array of scholarship programs in Scandinavia. Here are some of them:
Global Professionals (formerly Visby) — the most generous scholarship for studying in Sweden. It includes 100% of tuition costs, a monthly stipend of SEK 10,000, visa expenses, transport expenses up to 5000 SEK per academic year, and insurance.
UPPSALA UNIVERSITY PRESIDENT'S CLUB SCHOLARSHIP — covers tuition costs at Master's level (Sweden).

Being admitted to a Scandinavian university requires:
- Certificate of completed school education / Bachelor's or Master's degree with a notarized translation into English or the language of your target country.
- Certificate confirming completion of a language test.
- Letters of recommendation.
- Motivation letter.
- A résumé.
- Description of your research project (for PhD).
- Portfolio for creative subjects (optional).

Knowing Swedish, Finnish or Norwegian will be a very big advantage for any foreign candidate. Every year, there are more and more academic programs taught in English. There is less of a choice for Bachelor's programs, and considerably more if you want to study a Master's or Postgraduate course in Scandinavia.
Studying in Finnish will require a YKI certificate.
Certificates proving proficiency in Swedish include TISUS and Svenska 3.
Studying in Danish requires a Studieprøven i dansk som andetsprog / Danskprøve 2 certificate.
International students who want to study in Norway must pass a Bergentest at B2+ or a language test at their chosen university with at least a C+.

- In Norway you must have a minimum 121,220 NOK for your first year of tuition either in a Norwegian bank account or in a deposit at the university, or have proof of an education grant. If your tuition is paid, then you should add your cost of tuition to this amount.
